UV Technology for Air Disinfection & Surface Sterilisation  

The technology of using UVC radiation for disinfection is well established and has been around since mid-20th century. It has been used primarily in medical sterilisation, sanitation and sterile work facilities, i.e. surface disinfection. Increasingly it was employed to sterilise drinking and wastewater, as the holding facilities were enclosed and could be circulated to ensure a higher exposure to the UV. UV lamps can also be used to generate ozone (O3) where suitable material is used for the lamp tube. They are fairly inefficient ozone source in comparison to corona discharge ozone generators, but the ozone generated by the UV lamps in conjunction with UVC radiation helps to achieve much better results in odour treatment applications. read more about Ozone generation Microwave UV is fairly new approach to generating UVC radiation and its concept has been around for about a decade.
